What you need at the door
- Your QR ticket. Every person has their own ticket with its own QR code. Have it open on your phone or printed before you reach the front of the line.
- Photo ID. The name on the order goes on every ticket, so bring a valid photo ID.
- If you are paying at the door: your order number and your payment, cash or card. Your QR tickets are issued as soon as you pay.
How QR tickets work
- Each ticket has one QR code, and each code works once. When it is scanned at the door, it is marked as used.
- If a code has already been scanned, it will not work again. That is why you should never post your ticket on social media or share a screenshot with someone who is not using it.
- Your tickets arrive by email as soon as your order is paid. Each one also has its own page with the QR code, so you can open it from the link in your email.
Save your ticket before you leave home
Signal can be weak when a crowd arrives at once. Before you head out:
- Screenshot your QR ticket, or keep the ticket email easy to find.
- Turn your screen brightness up for the scan.
- If your phone is going in a waterproof pouch, make sure the code is visible and scannable through the plastic. Test it at home.
Paying at the door
If you reserved online and chose to pay at the door:
- Go to the box office or payment line, not the scan line.
- Give your order number and show your photo ID.
- Pay with cash or card.
- Your QR tickets are issued right away. Then join the entry line.

Buying at the door
The official box office is the only place, besides this website, that sells valid Midnight Riot tickets. If tickets are still available on event night, you can buy at the box office. Do not count on it: the last edition sold out, and prices are highest at the end. The smart move is to reserve online early.
Tickets from anywhere else are not valid
Only tickets bought on this website or at the official box office are valid for entry. If someone offers you a ticket on social media, a resale app or a group chat, it is not from Soka Elements. A QR code that has already been used, or one we did not issue, will not get you in.
Getting through the line fast
- Arrive early. The line is shortest in the first hour.
- Have your ticket open before you reach the scanner, not after.
- Keep your ID in the same pouch as your phone.
- Arrive with your group, but remember every person scans their own code.
- Keep bags small. A small bag is faster through the door than a backpack.
Rules of entry
Every event has conditions of entry, and they are part of the deal when you buy a ticket. Read the terms before the night, and follow the directions of security and event staff at the door and inside. Plan to stay in once you are inside. Re-entry rules are set by the event team on the night, so ask staff before you step out.

Only if you are not using it. Each QR code works once, and the name on the order goes on every ticket, so it is best for every guest to have their own ticket.
I lost my ticket email. What do I do?
Search your inbox and spam folder for your order confirmation, which links to your order page and tickets. If you still cannot find it, contact us before event night with your order number.
Can I pay at the door with a card?
Yes. You can pay with cash or card at a pickup location or at the door.
What time should I arrive?
Early. The line is shortest in the first hour, and you do not want to miss the build.

Once you are scanned in, the night is yours. Find your crew's meeting spot, grab water, and get ready for paint, powder, water and soca until sunrise.
