Tickets for Midnight Riot are sold one way: directly by Soka Elements. No resale apps, no outside ticket sites, no screenshots from a friend of a friend. This guide explains how it all works so you can lock in the best tier with no surprises.
Where to buy
Tickets are sold only on the tickets page of this website and at the official box office. Tickets bought anywhere else are not valid for entry. If someone offers you a Midnight Riot ticket on social media, it is not from us.
How the tiers work
Tickets are released in tiers. Each tier has a set number of tickets, a price and a sales window.
- When a tier sells out or its window closes, the next tier opens at a higher price.
- Unsold tickets from a tier that closes can roll into the next tier at that tier's price.
- Each ticket type on the tickets page shows how much is left, so you can see when a tier is running low.
- The next tier to open has a countdown, so you know exactly when it goes live.
The earlier you buy, the less you pay. That is the whole strategy.
Early access and codes
Some tiers open early for people with a code. There are a few kinds:
- Founder codes are personal codes for members of the Soka Elements founder list. They unlock Founder tickets and are single use.
- Referral codes are shareable codes, usually tied to a person. Entering one can unlock early access to the next tier before the public.
- Access codes may unlock specific ticket types during a short window, for example a room code shared live at an event.
To use a code, enter it in the code box at the top of the tickets page and press Apply. If the code unlocks a ticket type or early access, those tickets appear in the list right away. Codes can also be saved for checkout.
Codes are not transferable unless the person who shared it says so, and every code has its own rules on how many times it can be used.
Reserve now, pay at pickup or at the door
Right now there is no card payment online. Here is how buying works:
- Choose your tickets on the tickets page and add them to your cart.
- Check out with your name, email and optional phone number. The name on the order goes on every ticket, so use the name on your photo ID.
- Choose how you will pay: at a pickup location listed at checkout, or at the door on event night.
- Get your confirmation. Your order number and order page arrive by email. Keep them.
- Pay with cash or card at the pickup location or the door. Show your order number and photo ID.
- Receive your QR tickets. As soon as you pay, every person on the order gets their own QR ticket by email.
Card payments online are coming soon. When they launch, you will be able to pay at checkout and get your QR tickets right away.
If a service fee applies, it is shown in your total before you reserve.
Your QR ticket
Every ticket carries its own QR code, and each code works once at the door. That means:
- One person, one QR code. Send each friend their own ticket rather than sharing one screenshot.
- Do not post your QR code on social media. Once it is scanned, it is used.
- Save or screenshot your tickets before you leave home in case the signal is weak at the door.

When a tier sells out
If the tickets you want are sold out, join the waitlist on the tickets page. We will email the list when the next tickets go on sale. The last edition of Soka Elements sold out, so the waitlist is real.
Buying for a group
You can buy several tickets in one order, up to the limit for each ticket type. Remember:
- The name on the order goes on every ticket, so the person who checks out should be there at entry or each guest should have their own order.
- If you want everyone to pay for themselves, have each person reserve their own tickets.
- Coordinate before the next tier opens, so the whole crew gets the same price.

Can I change the name on my order?
Contact us before the event using the contact details in the website footer and include your order number.
What if I reserve and cannot pay in time?
Reach out as soon as you know. Reservations hold tickets that other people want.
Is there a box office on event night?
Yes, the official box office is the only place besides this website that sells valid tickets.
